Scissor lifting clamp

The workpiece to be lifted is gripped from the inside or outside by means of a form-locking and self-tensioning action. Typically, scissor lifting clamps are used to lift round workpieces such as large bearings or annular parts. The quick-locking mechanism of the jaws allows the jaws to be interchanged or rotated, allowing lifting from inside or outside the workpiece. The jaws, which can be closed and opened with a hand crank, ensure secure clamping of the workpiece during lifting and allow controlled release of the workpiece after lifting. The clamps provide a firmer grip on the workpiece. If the height of the space limits the use of scissor lifting clamps, frame grippers are an alternative solution.

The advantage of scissor lifting clamps is that different workpieces can be lifted with the same device. The load can be released in a controlled manner using a hand crank. This makes it easier, for example, to place large workpieces in confined spaces such as bearing housings or around shafts. Scissor lifting clamps save on procurement costs, cycle time and production costs.
