Scissor gripper
With scissor grippers, lifting and turning round-surfaced workpieces can be done quickly and safely with a single attachment. The scissor grip allows the other side of the workpiece to be machined or clamped. The customer saves on cycle time and production costs. We have supplied scissor grippers for products of different sizes, such as roller blanks and bearings.
We supply scissor grippers also for hygienic and GMP environments, meeting FDA requirements.

Product description
Scissor grippers can be used to grip workpieces with a round surface. In addition to barrel-shaped workpieces, the tool can also be used to lift perfectly round workpieces. During lifting, the workpiece can be rotated continuously while remaining attached to the lifting accessory at all times. Continuous rotation allows, for example, the contents of the workpiece being lifted to be emptied in a single step. After rotation, the workpiece can be positioned, for example, on a machining center, after which the lifting accessory can be detached and moved away.
The advantage of scissor grippers is that lifting and turning can be performed smoothly and safely with a single workpiece attachment. During lifting, the load can be secured or worked on from the other side. This saves the customer time and, consequently, reduces production costs.
