Junior Mechanical Engineer

At Hefmec, I work as a tool designer as part of our design team.

I am a mechanical engineer by training. I specialised in structural steel design and welding engineering at LUT University. In my thesis, I studied the robot welding of aluminium structures and joints and their specific characteristics, and also analysed the special manufacturing requirements of steel and aluminium structures.

In my free time I go to the gym and in winter I enjoy skiing on the slopes, weather permitting. However, I particularly enjoy working in the garage on maintenance and various projects.
