Collar gripper
The collar gripper is suitable, for example, for lifting barrels, pipes, roll sleeves, and other cylindrical objects, and, if necessary, for rotating them as well.
With collar grippers, workpieces can be lifted and rotated quickly and safely with a single attachment. A collar gripper can be used as a cylinder lifter when the workpiece can be gripped from its outer surface. The clamp-style grip allows the workpiece to be secured during lifting, for example, to a machining center. With interchangeable clamps and an adjustable frame, a variety of workpieces can be lifted. This product saves on procurement costs, setup time, and production costs.

Barrel Lifter - Collar Gripper
Collar grippers grasp the workpiece either by form-fit or by friction around the workpiece. With interchangeable bands, an adjustable frame, and a self-locking reduction gear, collar grippers can lift and rotate a wide variety of sizes and shapes of barrels, rolls, pipes, and other cylindrical objects. The hoist can also handle objects with an off-center center of gravity.
Typical workpieces to be lifted include barrels, sleeves, and other cylindrical workpieces. If necessary, the workpiece can also be rotated during the lift. During lifting, the workpiece can be rotated continuously while remaining secured to the grippers at all times. This continuous rotation enables work steps to be performed during the lift. The barrel lifter allows the contents of the lifted workpiece to be emptied. After rotation, the workpiece can be positioned for the next work step. The sleeve lifter enables the sleeve to be moved to the machining center. Finally, the lifting accessory can be detached.
The advantage of collar grippers is that lifting and rotating can be done steplessly and safely with a single attachment. During the lift, the load can be locked in place or lowered, for example while maintenance is carried out.
The lifting device can also be supplied with interchangeable clamps of different sizes, allowing the same frame to be used for lifting several different pieces. The use of collar grippers saves on procurement costs, lead time and production costs.
