Mikael Rantala

I started at Hefmec in 2025 as a tool designer as part of our design team.

My background is in mechanical engineering, with a particular focus on mechanical design, strength calculation and manufacturing engineering. Before becoming a designer, I worked in machine shops, first as a production operator and later as a production supervisor. At Hefmec, I will be able to deepen my design skills and build on my previous knowledge of manufacturing technology.

In my free time, I play volleyball and go to the gym for fun. In winter, I like snowboarding and playing puck in the open air.
