Mikael Rantala

I started at Hefmec in 2025 as a tool designer as part of our design team.

I have a Bachelor of Engineering degree, and my studies have focused particularly on mechanical design, structural analysis, and manufacturing technology. Before taking on the role of a designer, I worked in machine shops, first as a production operator and later as a production supervisor. At Hefmec, I’ll be able to deepen my design expertise and apply the manufacturing technology skills I’ve acquired previously.

In my free time, I play volleyball and go to the gym for fun. In winter, I like snowboarding and playing puck in the open air.
